The next SMMTwebinar on 30 March, from 10:30 – 11:00, will focus on international business opportunities and the work SMMTand UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) are doing to enable UK companies to benefit from doing business abroad.

This year, SMMTexpects to receive around £240k in government funding through UKTI grants to support the UK automotive sector by developing international export opportunities. A dedicated team of experienced SMMTspecialists work closely with UKTI and a range of other bodies to help UK firms expand their business overseas and capitalise on potential investment opportunities. 

SMMTchief executive Paul Everitt will chair the event and provide an update on the latest industry developments. David Croxson, Head of International at 91ÖÆƬ³§¹ÙÍø, will give an overview of the latest overseas developments, focus on the upcoming opportunities and discuss the support available to help UK firms expand their markets abroad.
