On 14 and 15 January, SMMTForesight Vehicle held a seminar entitled “Low Carbon Vehicle Power Systems” at the MIRA engineering centre in Nuneaton. The event, supported by the Technology Strategy Board and hosted on behalf of the Low Carbon and Fuel Cell Knowledge Transfer Network, attracted more than 80 guests.

A wide range of topics was discussed including how to access the many new funding opportunities, niche vehicle funding systems and updates on ongoing projects. During the afternoon, delegates were invited to propose projects and consortia to be developed with SMMTForesight Vehicle for submission to the funding bodies. Over the two days, 17 projects were outlined which will be coordinated and progressed with the help of SMMTForesight Vehicle. Details can be accessed at the SMMTForesight Vehicle website.
