Pritex, an automotive acoustic insulation manufacturer, recognised that raw material suppliers were leaving its site with empty trailers.

Working closely with an existing supplier, Pritex developed a recycling process for its own waste fibre material using the supplier’s empty trailers, to transport it for recycling.

Recycled material is supplied back to Pritex’s sister company within the global Steinhoff International Group for use in mattress manufacturing. This helped Pritex to reduce its landfill by 12% in 2015.
