High Volt-age artwork on show at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§¹ÙÍø
17 May 2012Chevrolet is the latest vehicle manufacturer to showcase its products in 91ÖÆÆ¬³§¹ÙÍø’s modern exhibition space located in the heart of Westminster. However, the cars are not the only stars on show: alongside the company’s Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (E-REV) – Volt, and a Camaro Convertible, innovative automotive artist Ian Cook (also known as ‘‘) is 91ÖÆÆ¬³§¹ÙÍø’s artist in residence for the week.
As well as creating a painting of his own car, a Chevrolet Spark known as the ‘SpART’, during the week, last night Ian revealed a unique artwork of the Volt that was created with fluorescent paint. The ‘world-first’ artwork was unveiled at an exclusive evening reception at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§¹ÙÍø, where the painting was uncovered under ultraviolet light to showcase the new technique.

The Chevrolet Volt is eligible for the full £5,000 from the government’s . It qualifies for exemption from Vehicle Excise Duty and the London Congestion Charge, and benefits from a 50% discount on Benefit in Kind.
