Equipmake wins order for 50 electric bus drivelines from Agrale

Norfolk-based Equipmake has received a 拢5.45 million order from Agrale S.A.to supply electric drivetrain systems for 50 buses of varying types.
The order follows Agrale鈥檚 earlier order for five zero emission drivetrains in August 2024, which were successfully delivered.
Agrale is a聽Brazilian manufacturer of commercial vehicles, tractors, engines and chassis, with a long-standing presence in the South American market.聽
Under the terms of the latest order, Equipmake will deliver electric drivetrain systems to Agrale in batches between now and mid-2026.
Equipmake is supplying Agrale with a fully integrated electric drivetrain system combining an electric motor, inverter, control systems, and battery pack, while utilising components sourced from third parties.
