SMMTis pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Lewis as Head of Communications from 24 September 2012.

Keith has spent the last six years at Zurich Insurance, most recently as Senior Media Relations Manager. He has been leading communications activity on a range of major issues facing the company and the wider insurance industry. Prior to 2006, he held a number of positions within 91ÖÆƬ³§¹ÙÍø’s Policy and Communications teams.

Commenting on the new appointment, Chief Executive Paul Everitt said, “It’s great to welcome Keith back to 91ÖÆƬ³§¹ÙÍø. His experience in the UK business of a global company will add important experience and knowledge to the capability of our media and broader communications operation. Keith will continue our work to raise awareness of the importance of the UK automotive sector in rebalancing the economy and securing business opportunities. This is an exciting time for the sector and SMMTis looking to play an important role in attracting new investment and driving forward the ultra low carbon vehicle agenda.
